Privacy Policy

The Hermes SMS service is operated by Henry Andre to provide informational personal-assistant messages to people who have chosen to receive them.

Information we process

To operate the messaging service, Hermes may process:

  • Your enrolled mobile phone number.
  • SMS and MMS message contents that you send to or receive from Hermes.
  • Your opt-in, opt-out, and help-request status.
  • Message-delivery metadata, such as timestamps, status, and carrier error codes.

How we use information

Hermes uses this information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Send requested assistant responses, reminders, and informational updates.
  • Understand and respond to incoming messages.
  • Honor messaging preferences, including opt-in and opt-out requests.
  • Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve delivery of the service.

How we share information

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data or consent, is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be processed by service providers, including Twilio, only as necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the messaging service. These providers act on our behalf and are not authorized to use mobile information for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.

Retention and security

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve delivery issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect the information, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on your requests and configured reminders or automations. Message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

Reply STOP to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will receive no further messages unless you later text START to enroll again.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required.
